Results & ImpactIn 2007, Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay provided education and training to 332 separate nonprofit organizations in the Tampa Bay area. This translates into providing education and training to 680 individuals. Educational offerings included 22 training and development courses, four sessions of executive forums, two customized training sessions and 1 key note speaker event. Since 1999 Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay has invited nonprofit clients to evaluate their specific experience in sponsored projects and professional development events, with particular interest in the degree to which they report acquiring knowledge, skills or project outcomes that can be used to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within their organizations. The aggregate ratings have consistently been above 4.0 (on a 5-point scale) in these key areas, with a strong rate of participant response (generally 75% or higher). Such ratings underscore the caliber of the trainers, consultants and other collaborative partners who work with Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay as well as the dedication to continual improvement and human capacity investment that are inherent in those who seek our services. Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay’s Outcomes Measurement Indicators for all of its educational offerings for the past seven years demonstrate that on average 88% of client evaluators rated their increase in knowledge, skill or understanding as a result of their experience at a 4.37; 89% of this same group indicated their Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay-sponsored professional development experience would enable them to improve their efficiency and effectiveness within their respective nonprofit agencies at a 4.41(1 to 5 scale). In January 2006 Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay broadened its outcome measurements to include a six month post training blind sample phone survey to better report its long term impact. Overwhelming ResultsIn 2007, 91.1% of client evaluators indicated increased knowledge, understanding or skill levels as a result of their Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay experience; 90.5% from this same group indicated their Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay-sponsored professional development experience would enable them to improve their efficiency and/or effectiveness within their respective nonprofit agencies.
